Family and Small Group Mediation

Service Description

For families and smaller groups, 1-2 mediators will engage the group to resolve conflict by promoting clear and gentle communication and mutual understanding. Mediators conduct individual listening sessions in advance of a joint session where participants are guided in communication and brainstorming. This enables them to identify concrete steps that will promote trust, resolve conflict, and craft a way forward. Where appropriate and desired, mediation can result in a written agreement of understanding that will guide the participants in renewed unity. Free Consultation Cost: Our $200 hourly rate typically includes two mediators, and the average hours billed are 8-20 hrs which includes individual interviews with each party, internal pre-mediation preparation, 1 mediation meeting with two mediators and each party, 2-4 hours internal post-mediation services as needed (possible agreement drafting, follow-up with relevant parties, etc.).
